Ronnie O'Sullivan celebrated his 33rd birthday by making history at Hopton on Sunday night, winning a fifth successive Premier League Snooker title.

More than 1,250 snooker fans packed in to Potters Leisure Resort's international arena to see the three-time world champion start off like an express train, taking the first five frames against a below-par Mark Selby, before winning the best of 13 frame final 7-2.
