Gorleston was bathed in glorious sunshine for the 272 people who chose to run or walk the weekly 5km park run.

With the East Coast 10k, hosted by Great Yarmouth Road Runners, the following day numbers were slightly down.

There was a lot to celebrate, with 31 new personal best times set. It was encouraging to see some youngsters amongst this group, namely Lauren Harlow, James Bowman, Aimee Carruthers, Shay Simpson and William Foden.

Tyler Bilyard went head-to-head with female course record holder Colleen Nicole for the top spot this week. With just one second separating them Tyler had the edge, finishing in 17.42.

Michael Jones and Debra Paine both reached their 50th parkruns with Tim Cheesman clocking up another official milestone of 250. A special mention goes to Paul Rivers, Dianne Crosby and Rob Bailey who all completed their 200th runs in style.
