Hospital Police could only field two players and Hospital Sparks must have thought they were in with a chance of victory, but the Police ran out 7-3 winners.

Sparks just managed to hang on against the Gorleston Conservatives and victory was theirs 6-4 but the Gorl Cons could not touch Hospital A, losing all 10, and again against Hospital Police they went down 8-2.

Hospital A played out a good draw with Hospital Dynamos but the A team could not repeat this score when they met Kings A, going down 7-3. Dynamos were in the same boat, losing 7-3 to BSC. Burrage took all 10 against the Police.

ENSFC jumped to third place in Division Two with an excellent victory 7-3 over top team King's Church B and there was the same score over the C team for whom Brendan McManus was unlucky when the vital points would not go his way.

Mill Lane and the Acle Lads played out a draw and Hospital Telecom only allowed Caister Com to score three points when they met.

The following two results were discussed at a recent committee meeting and now stand: Burrage A 9, King's Church A l; Acle Lads 9, Kings C l.

The quarter-finals of the League Cup have been played: King's Church B beat Mill Lane 6-3, St Johns B beat St Johns A 6-3, Hospital Sparks beat Hospital Telecom 5-4, Burrage beat King's Church A 6-3.

Semi-finals will be at Northgate on Thursday, January 8 at 7.30pm.

Quarter-finals/semis/final of the Autumn Handicap Cup will be at Northgate on Tuesday, January 6 at 7.15pm.

All outstanding matches must be played as soon as possible and results sent in immediately.
