Now that the school holidays are well under way, parents may well be looking for some activities to keep their children busy and active during the last weeks in August.

Now that the school holidays are well under way, parents may well be looking for some activities to keep their children busy and active during the last weeks in August.

Great Yarmouth Borough Council's Sports Development Service still has spaces on a number of activities during this time.

The range of activities on offer is:

Monday, August 16: Led walk for parents and their children from Fleggburgh Village Hall, starting at 10am and finishing by 11.30am. Free.

Tuesday, August 17: Badminton at York Road Drill Hall, Great Yarmouth from 2pm to 4pm. �4 per child.

Friday, August 20: Tennis morning at Gorleston Tennis Club, Orde Avenue from 10am to 12.30pm. �6 per child.

Monday, August 23: Archery at Fleggburgh Village Hall. Sessions at 10am to 11.30am and 11.30am to 1pm. �4 per child.

Wednesday, August 25: Tennis day at Gorleston Tennis Club, Orde Avenue from 10am to 3pm. �12 per child.

Thursday, August 26: Led walk at Fritton for parents and their children, meet at New Road car park. Starting at 10am and finishing by 11.30am.

Free.

Friday, August 27: Tennis morning at Gorleston Tennis Club, Orde Avenue from 10am to 12.30pm. �6 per child.

Friday, August 27: Gymnastics and trampolining day at Oriel High School for five to seven-year-olds, from 10am to 12.30pm. �6 per child. For children aged eight and over from 10am to 3pm. �12 per child.

All activities are aimed at children aged eight and above, except where stated.
