CLIFF Park Junior School took part in the Cliff Park Cluster Sports Hall athletics final at Oriel High School, in Gorleston.
The school participated in the Year 5 and Year 6 competitions. The children were all very dedicated with several weeks of training and then competing after school for a couple of hours. Both the Year 5 and Year 6 teams at Cliff Park Junior School won their competitions.
There were 10 track and six field events (six each for boys and girls). Cliff Park Juniors were very successful in all the field events and maintained a high standard in the track events.
They now go forward to the East Norfolk finals held at Lynn Grove High School, in Gorleston. Here they will compete against the champions of the other clusters in the East Norfolk area.
Winning both events for the Cliff Park Cluster is an outstanding achievement.
Thanks go to Mrs Harlow for all the extra practices she organises and warm congratulations go to the whole squad.
