Stalham welcomed a strong Bungay team to Rivers Park on Saturday, but with manager Carl Nicholls having numerous call-offs again, he had to go on the bench.
The game was an entertaining goalless draw with home keeper Nichols in fine form, making a series of top-class saves.
Stalham had a chance to take all three points in the second half but Steve Ellis hit a post with a penalty kick.
Stalham were delighted with the performances of young players Nick Grapes, Daniel Duffield and MoM James Gooch.
Both teams were happy with a point.
