Top local performers were Danni Breacker and Hettie Baker who won silver in the doubles table-tennis; swimmer Steve Fisher who won bronze as part of the East regional team; and Casey Watkins who did the same in elite trampoline.

The other competitors all gained good places and helped the East to third place in the Wilkinson Sword Trophy competition for the top British region (out of nine).

The other students involved were Charlie Aldred (badminton), Lee Robinson and Matt Farrow (badminton doubles), Emily Pestka (swimming), Jess Rutherford (golf), Sophie Watts (table-tennis), Sara Ward (squash), Emily Dyble and Imogen Burrage (cross-country), Jodie Rettie (rugby) and Craig Snelling (hockey umpire).

The college's students are still involved in BCS events with four teams in men's and women's football and hockey reaching the final stages of the national knock-out cups as East of England champions.
