Students shine in the East Anglian Cross-Country League

Students from East Norfolk Sixth Form College received trophies in the East Anglian Cross-Country League held at Catton Park in Norwich.

Eloise Platt finished a superb season, winning the junior female trophy. She came third overall in the ladies’ league and helped the ladies’ A team win the team prize.

Iona Brett finished second junior female and received a trophy for 10th place overall in the ladies’ league.

In his first season of cross-country, Harrison Meek won the junior male trophy and along with Niall Simmonds, who also had an impressive season, won medals for the men’s A team which came second. Jack Collins showed great commitment to the team throughout the season and finished as second junior male in the league.

The East Anglian Cross-Country League is made up of Norfolk and Suffolk running clubs, RAF teams and the UEA and involves 10 races throughout the winter season at various locations throughout East Anglia.
