Suffolk raider Cotton wins Yarmouth and Caister golf honours

For the second time this year a Suffolk raider won the professional event and it was Andy Cotton (Ufford Park) taking the honours with a two under 68.

A shot back was Lee Patterson (Royal Cromer) who took maximum Order of Merit points with his 69 holding off Ian Ellis (Costessey Park) and Tony Varney (Bawburgh). For the second competition running Ian Ellis led in the winning team and again he was partnered by Dean Ashton and on this occasion supported by Brad & Mitch Smith. Their score of 121 was 19 under par and four shots ahead of Andy Cotton’s team.
