Halls Group Great Yarmouth Sunday League

LAST Sunday's programme was decimated by the deluge of rain that meant only two of the league's teams managed to play and that was away in the Norfolk Junior Cup.

Windmill were successful at Winfarthing Fighting Cocks as they ran out 10-1 winners whilst the league lost Rampart Signs who slumped to a 7-0 reverse at Upton.

With the county cup matches now taking priority, all original fixtures for the October 12 have been scrapped with the fixtures scheduled for the October 5 being played this weekend instead. Next week's fixtures will be as originally scheduled bar any county cup replays.

Just a quick note that if your club secretary is away on holiday please can you ensure that an alternative contact number is left with the league in case we need to contact you with regards to cancelled matches or any other issues.

Finally, good luck to all teams in the county cups this weekend.

Any problems then ring Scott Yarham 07901 825648, http://www.leaguewebsite.co.uk/hggyfl
