AFTER several weeks of inactivity normal service resumed with Windmill left flying the flag on the County Cup front as they recorded an impressive 4-1 win over a strong Bentinck Arms in the Intermediate Cup after going behind.
The league's other county representatives both went out.
Camden Tavern in the Senior Cup led twice but slumped to a 6-4 extra time defeat to 10-man AFC Wanderers.
Camden will rue the open goal they missed in the final minute of normal time to book their semi-final place.
In the junior competition Rumbold Arms were handsomely beaten 5-1 by Downham Town Old Boys.

Onto league matters and, in the only first division game, played Newton Golfers eased to a comfortable 5-1 win against Hembsy SSC.
There were two tight games in the second division as Acle Wanderers and Caesars Bar shared the points following their 1-1 draw, whilst Hembsy FC came back from Belton FC with a slender 2-1 win and as a result leapfrog their opponents in
the table.
In the second division league cup Rollesby FC cruised to a 6-1 win over Gorleston Albion.
The third division saw the top two teams both record victories with Sun FC winning 3-0 against Carpathians and Memphis Belton the day's biggest winners following their 8-1 rout of Venture Albion. The final game saw a tenth league defeat for gallant Bohemians as they lost 4-2 again Crown Stores, who climb to third.
Clubs are reminded that the scores should be phoned through to Glyn Gray by no later than 6pm on the day of the match. Failure to do so will result in a fine.
