In the Division One League Cup, Arches defeated Hembsy SSC 5-1, however they needed to win by six clear goals to win their group, so they will face El Sol in a semi-final this weekend with Camden Tavern hosting Norton Athletic on a date to be arranged.

In the league El Sol went down by the odd goal of five to Newtown Golfers, a result that puts Golfers in command of second place. But the chances of winning the division are slim with Camden needing just a point to retain their crown.

In the second division, Windmill lost for the first time, 3-2 against Belton United. But with four games in hand and just two points behind leaders Rollesby, they remain strong favourites for the title.

Caesar's Bar defeated Gorleston Albion in a tight game 2-1 whilst Camden Tavern Reserves inflicted a 6-2 defeat on Acle Wanderers.

The third division saw Star & Garter make it eight from eight with a 6-0 win against Mariners Compass.

Joining them on 24 points come Rumbold Arms who won 2-0 against Crown Stores, whilst Carpathians inflicted a 14th straight defeat on a young Bohemians side 3-2.

This week sees the league's first finals take place with the Division Three Cup final between Memphis Belton and Rumbold Arms at 11am, followed by the KO Plate final between Hembsy SSC and Newtown Golfers at 1.30pm.

Both games take place on The Wellesley Stadium, Great Yarmouth with admission 3/1.50. All support appreciated.
