Division One leaders Windmill return to league action after several weeks of cup activity and produce the highest score of the day blowing Carpathians away 16-0 at Lynn Grove. Credit to Carpathians who have gone through changes this season but have stuck together and always manage to field a team and give 100%. the same as the other clubs at the bottom of the respective division’s, Seajacks and Blackfrairs. In the other Division One games, Gorleston Albion continue to enjoy their time in second place and continue to win games.

This week their victory came at the expense of Memphis Belton, with a brace for Steven Forsyth, and one apiece for Shaun Forsyth and Ian Holmes. In the other game Gorleston Rangers got the better of Bohemians 5-0.

In Division Two the match between AC Mill Lane and Seajacks was unfortunately abandoned. Acle Wanderers continued with their push for promotion, but were held to a 3-3 draw at home to Hemsby Athletic.

Fellow Division Two club Breydon Utd where given a walk over in the Norfolk County Intermediate Cup against Harleston Cherry Tree.

In Division Three GY Galaxy overcame Patriots 5-3 with goals from Bryanton, Panteli, Harman and two for Goodrum, to keep they hopes alive of finishing the season strongly and in contention. The Blackfrairs keep coming and looking for they first elusive point, this week it was was the Lord Nelson t provide the opposition and they provrd to strong winning 5-1. Belton Utd continue to lead the table with a 5-1 victory over third-placed Wheelwrights.

In the FA Sunday Cup El Sol returned home having held Upshire to a draw, and the replay is this Sunday at Emerald Park, Gorleston (ko 1)– Peter Futter.
