ON Sunday at Ponds Forge, Sheffield, in the National Inter Counties Championships, Great Yarmouth had the distinction of having three members of the club - Shanise Webster, Olivia Smith, and Jack Utting - picked to swim.
This gala is of a particular high standard with every county in the country taking part, and up to 1,100 swimmers.
With Olympians Ross Davenport and David Carry in attendance, they acquitted themselves well.
Jack was first up in the 100m backstroke where he returned a new pb, as he did in the 100m fly, taking one and half seconds off his previous time.
Olivia was next up in the 100m fly, and although she swam superbly she found the opposition tough.
Shanise and Jack were both in action in the 4x50m relays where Norfolk finished seventh and ninth.
