ON Sunday, 29 swimmers from Great Yarmouth took part in the King's Lynn Open, getting eight first places, 12 seconds, 10 thirds, and 12 fourths.Jack Utting took first places in all four strokes and the 100 i/m.

ON Sunday, 29 swimmers from Great Yarmouth took part in the King's Lynn Open, getting eight first places, 12 seconds, 10 thirds, and 12 fourths.

Jack Utting took first places in all four strokes and the 100 i/m. First places also came from Connor Webster backstroke, Laura Loveland breast-stroke, and Grace Hubbard freestyle.

Isacc Kirby was unlucky not to gain a first place, but got second place in all five events for the U11s. Emily Acland, against strong opposition, did well to get two second places breast-stroke and fly with a third in backstroke. Zoe Prettyman also got two seconds breast-stroke and fly with a third in the 100 i/m. Adelaide Loveland freestyle, Megan Newman backstroke found tough opposition in their races, but both paced themselves well to come through in second places.

All races were of a good standard with a large number of entries. The third places from Aron Hudson backstroke and 100 i/m. Jake Honey backstroke, Tom Smith 100 i/m, Charlie Smith breaststroke, and fourth places from Danielle Page breast-stroke, Emily Pestka fly and Declan Scott 100 i/m were excellent efforts.
