A very one-sided HA Holmes Cup semi-final saw Catfield ease to the final with a 10-0 win over Golfers Arms with Chad Pillar netting five times, Paul Thompson twice and Adam Thompson, Mark Vincent and Gary Todd once each.

MK United returned to the top of the first division as they thrashed Tramway 10-1 with AD Hogg (4) R Coe(3) D Ingram, AR Hogg and Clarke on target. Catfield and MK United clash on Wednesday, April 1 in the season's first cup final with a 7.30 kick-off on the Wellesley .

Dean Harper and Martin Vincent scored as Arches narrowly defeated Gunton 2-1 to remain third and Ross Charlton's four goals led Reedham to a convincing 7-1 win against Lacon Arms with Gary Fitzgerald, Robert Brown and David Willis completing the scoring.

MK United Reserves were idle Saturday, however they returned to the top of the second division on goal difference as the morning's leaders Shrublands crashed 5-0 at Hemsby Reserves whose goals came from Rory Gook (2) Lewis Hannant, Terry McGough and Lee Carter to keep alive promotion hopes.

A team looking very good for promotion is Albion (GY) who took a 3-0 interval lead at home to Norfolk and Chance thanks to two goals from Johnny Bowles and one from Sam Welch although Norfolk and Chance had the better of the second period and pulled a goal back through Scott Foskett. Albion remain three points off the top with six games in hand.

Apart from the Hemsby fixture it was a day of close games in Division Two with two other games finishing 3-1 as a Gary Linnett hat-trick secured three points for South Yarmouth at home to Martham A and Prostar Windows won by the same 3-1 margin at Carpathians with King, Harris and an own goal settling matters.

The day's other two games were even closer, both finishing 2-1 as Great Yarmouth United ended a four-week run without a win by defeating Paperclip thanks to goals from Jonathan Firman and James Court while Jason Howell and Adam Pope were on target for Great Yarmouth Peelers who narrowly defeated Gorleston Wanderers.
