The Superstox provided some brilliant action, including a roll-over for the Caister Road favourite, Garry Sparkes. Thetford's Daniel Rutterford won the first heat after taking out the recently returned Eddie Edmonds (Great Yarmouth). However, with his car repaired, Edmonds made sure the final didn't go the same way, taking out the hard-charging Rutterford in fine style. Norwich's Shaun Brooker completed a heat and final double.

In the Ministox, Ormesby's Bryson Walker went well again in his new car, with a second and a fourth in the heats, before going on to take the final. Making his track debut was brother Kenton

Sunday at 6.30pm sees another round of the East Anglian Car Recycling novelty series, the banger drivers racing small vans. The V8 stock cars make their first visit of the year and there's more Ministox.
