ON a sun-baked day at Loddon A, Hemsby's Peter Tilbrook was influential in their win with a knock of 135 not out.
Hemsby were invited to bowl and the Loddon A innings was kick-started by Reeve who punished any bad ball. When David Cossey was introduced he quickly removed Edmonds for five.
Cossey began to put pressure on the Loddon batsmen, snaring Ryan Edmonds for 11.
Good fielding by Alan Maxwell removed the dangerous Reeve for 46. The Loddon innings closed at 190-7 with some lusty hitting from Aldred and the first wickets of the season from Tilbrook.
The Hemsby innings began with Hudson looking to build on his 62 against Acle. However, after four balls he played on to Wells, the ball hitting the stumps of the back of his bat via the pad.
Perry was harsh on anything short from Moore. Tilbrook began slowly, scoring four off his first 30 balls. Dropped before scoring, he gradually began to play himself in. Perry left for a well-played 20 with the score on 48.

In a last effort Ryan Edmonds brought himself to ball medium fast full tosses, he was dispatched for 30 making it 99 runs off nine overs against Hemsby this season. No mistakes and promotion from Norfolk League Division Nine can still be achieved.
