Top fighters for fundraiser

KICKBOXING: International kickboxing and K1 returns to Great Yarmouth on Sunday at the Ocean Room for a fundraising night in aid of the junior England kickboxing squad’s Great Yarmouth members who are travelling to Germany and Latvia to take part in the World and European Championships.

Top of the bill will be world lightweight kickboxing champion Bin Tyler (pictured), Yarmouth’s most successful-ever kickboxer, taking on Portugal’s K1 lightweight champion Ruben Almeida in a Pro K1 bout.

Support bouts feature the region’s top kickboxers taking on fighters from Portugal, Yorkshire, the Midlands, Norwich, Ipswich and the rest of East Anglia.

Record-breaking fighter, World Full-Contact Champion and ABA boxing champion Jade Munro will be going for her 5th British title, taking on British No 2 Jade Clayton of Rotherham.

Also in action will be Ferg, VG Vitali, Sebastian Dryglewski, Etienne Delorme, Jack Docherty, Aaron Monson, Cam McGarrigle, Stu Meredith and Yarmouth’s most successful junior kickboxing team in history.

VIP tables with Thai food are still available and tickets can be bought from usual outlets, or on the door.
