Volleyball on the beach returns

THIS weekend sees the fourth year of the Great Yarmouth Classic Beach Volleyball Tournament, over 30 pairs of beach volleyball players will come together to contest this event, hoping to gain valuable points which will count towards the national final in September.

THIS weekend sees the fourth year of the Great Yarmouth Classic Beach Volleyball Tournament, over 30 pairs of beach volleyball players will come together to contest this event, hoping to gain valuable points which will count towards the national final in September.

If you would like to watch Volleyball played to the highest standards then come along on Saturday, August 8 or Sunday, August 9 to see some of the action, play starts at 10am each day and the courts are sited alongside the Brittania Pier.

Also, as a prelude to the tournament Great Yarmouth Borough Councils Sports Development Service are holding a Junior/Novice training session on this Friday, August 7. From 5pm to 7pm you are invited to come along and be coached in this great game. Its free, all you have to do is turn up on the courts by the Brittania Pier and join in.
