The Aston Berry Great Yarmouth Sunday League
WINDMILL retained the KO Cup last Thursday with a 5-0 win against Gorleston Albion, who were well in the contest until three late goals.
Windmill followed this up with a 2-0 victory against Belton United to move to the top of Division Two and they now need just one more win from their four remaining games to secure back-to-back titles and promotions.
El Sol were handed the three points in the first division as Sunningdale failed to fulfil the fixture, and this handed them second place in the section that was won by Camden Tavern. Newtown Golfers ended third with Arches fourth.
Star and Garter secured the third division title following their 13-3 drubbing of Crown Stores. This made it 13 straight wins and they will be looking to complete the season as 100 per centers by winning their three remaining fixtures.
Elsewhere, Memphis Belton slipped to a 4-1 defeat at Sun FC but look to have secured second place. They can be caught by Rumbold Arms who defeated Mariners Compass 5-1, but for that to happen Rumbold need to win both their remaining fixtures by a plus 17 goal margin.
