Windmill made it a clean sweep of the Great Yarmouth Sunday League cups by beating AC Mill Lane 4-1 in the Division One League Cup.
AC started brightly were nearly rewarded but Jake Currell misguided his header.
Halfway through the first half Windmill were awarded a free-kick which Scott Butler fired into the bottom corner to put them ahead.
In the 38th minute Rikki Butler brought a smart save from Steve Hemp. From the resulting corner AC could only half clear it and Butler volleyed home to make it 2-0 at half-time.
AC won a corner soon after the restart and Halifax’s low shot skidded past Malloy to make it 2-1. On 64 minutes Adam Thompson bundled the ball home to make it 3-1, with Hemp getting injured and havingd to go off.
Dan Buckle took his place and made two fine saves but was unable to stop Thompson getting his second of the match. MoM was Arron Huggins for a dominant game in midfield.
