Sunday saw County Cup semi-final action for three Great Yarmouth Sunday League teams.

In the Senior Cup Windmill booked their place at Carrow Road by beating DE FC from Norwich 4-3. It was 2-2 at half-time with goals from Ingram and Pillar. Windmill were hit by a breakaway goal but Huggins unleashed a thunderbolt from 25 yards to make it all square. Windmill were then rewarded when Pillar scored with seconds left. El Sol couldn’t make it an all Yarmouth final when they lost on penalties after a brace from Middleton wasn’t enough against CSKA Emneth.

In the Intermediate Cup Windmill Res went down 1-0 to Hewitt Old Boys. The semi-final draw of the KO Cup sees Windmill v Wheelwrights and Bohemian Res v El Sol.
