Aston Berry Great Yarmouth Sunday League

THIS week the results were largely close, however in the Norfolk Intermediate Cup Windmill will fly the flag for the league in the quarter-finals following their resounding 9-1 win at New Buckenham.

Camden Tavern Reserves left the competition, going down 5-2 at Bayer.

The top two in Division One remain locked on level points following their wins.

Camden Tavern, with a game in hand, won 2-0 against Newtown Golfers whilst El Sol needed two late goals to defeat Norton at the Subcourse 2-1.

There were three tight games in the second division. Acle Wanderers move up to second place following their 2-1 win at Gorleston Albion.

Belton United remain fourth after a close 2-1 win against Rollesby who stay third but have played more games than anyone else in the division.

Hemsby FC scored a 2-0 victory at Caesar's Bar, which takes them up to fifth place.

The third division saw the biggest win of the day as Rumbold Arms scored a resounding 12-2 win against pointless Bohemians. They will surely be in the title race once they catch up on games in hand as they currently lie fifth on 14 points, five off the top with two games in hand.

Star and Garter are the form side of the division having won all five of their games to date, including Sunday's 7-1 demolition of Crown Stores.

At Ormesby a tight game ended 2-1 as Carpathians lost out to Venture Albion, which puts the sides level on six points each.
