Winning start for Yarmouth Reserves

GREAT Yarmouth Town Reserves opened their Anglian Combination Division Two season at promoted Acle United Reserves on Wednesday, and delighted with a fine and well-deserved 3-0 win.

GREAT Yarmouth Town Reserves opened their Anglian Combination Division Two season at promoted Acle United Reserves on Wednesday, and delighted with a fine and well-deserved 3-0 win.

Jose Vide opened the scoring after 25 minutes with a header from Johnny Watt's centre after he received a knock-back from Jose's brother Fernando.

Liam Bartley doubled the advantage in the 72nd minute after a superb lofted through ball by Mark Thompson, and Watt completed the scoring in the final minute when he converted a Thompson corner at the near post.
