Woodlands Primary are proud of their young swimmers who took part in the East Norfolk School Sports Partnership junior gala. The event, the first partnership gala, was held at the Phoenix pool and featured swimmers from North Denes, Hillside and Homefield primary schools. Pupils swam in 50-metre races, and completed the event with a selection of relays.

Woodlands pupils won 12 of the 16 individual races, with pupils picking up medals for their success.

Pupils were then selected to swim at the county gala in December as part of an East Norfok team. Well done to the six swimmers selected from the school and good luck representing the East Norfolk areas at the county finals.

Thanks go to competition manager Stuart Brunton-Douglas, Sue Griffen and the staff at the Phoenix, and also the students from East Norfolk Sixth College who officiated the event.
