Yarmouth kickboxer Bin Tyler was still on top of the world after the third successful defence of his world lightweight title in what could well be his last fight, beating tough undefeated challenger Vajaceslav Skreivers of Latvia.

After Tyler dominated the first round, Skreivers came back in the second with some sharp punches. The third and fourth were dominated by Tyler’s low-kicks landing repeatedly on his thighs causing the Latvian a lot of pain, in the fifth Tyler had Skreivers on the floor with a barrage of powerful kicks.

Then in the sixth a perfect right cross had the Latvian on the canvas for an eight count, Skreivers barely beating the count.

Tyler landed two head kicks in the final round which Skreivers took well showing amazing toughness,.

A unanimous points victory from the judges went to Yarmouth’s most successful ever kickboxer. It could well be the end of an era due to Bin’s work commitments.
