Three of Acle Indoor Bowling Club's bright young stars took part in the latest junior tournament, being played over three weekends at Potters Leisure Resort.
Acle had submitted three teams of triples but only one team, Edward Lambert, Lauren Siely and Lewis Moore, had to play a preliminary game.
In an older age category, the young team looked up against it when they went four shots down after three ends of a 10-end game against a strong-looking North Walsham team. The Acle trio fought their way back brilliantly to go into the last end one shot in front. They dropped a shot on the last end which tied the game and meant a tense extra end, which they won.
They go on to play on Sunday, along with the other two Acle teams.
This is a two-wood triples knockout event, culminating in a final which is played on Potters' famous blue carpet on January 24, just prior to the world singles final.
This will provide a great opportunity for the youngsters to show their talents to a larger audience.
