BOWLS success: Cantley’s under-25 challenge match against the EBF Norfolk team was deemed to be a great success and is set to become an annual event.

Norfolk’s under-25s won by 117 shots to 88 to claim the new trophy, which was presented by the host club’s Brian Soanes.

Cantley chairman Chris Carter presented top block medals to the Norfolk block of Arianne Gray, Jordan Groves and Adam Comerford (pictured right).

“What a fantastic day, to see 27 young, up-and-coming bowlers on the rink together,” said Norfolk captain Jeanette Riseley. “They were a credit to Norfolk.”
