Knock-out football dominated the Norfolk and Suffolk Youth League development age groups last weekend.

The losing teams need not worry too much as there is still the plate competition, which also reaches its climax at Emerald Park.

Beccles Town had four teams on display last Sunday, the Hornets, Wasps, Dragonflies and Fireflies and every team had a goal scorer. Alfie scored three, Cameron, Sammy and Callum all scored two and they were backed up with goals from Luke, Bailey, Ashton, Teddy and Alfie.

For the Tornados of Gorleston FC Oliver, Austin, Connor, Carson, Ethan and Callum were all on target. Thomas and Dexter found the net for Loddon, along with Nathan and Joseph for Freethorpe. Ryley was the goalscoring hero at Great Yarmouth Town, Harley and Michael were on target for Shrublands and Alfie was on target for the Tigers of Ormesby.

Clubs rarely become bigger then both Waveney and Kirkley & Pakefield so they will always need a steady supply of goalscorers. Waveney had Toby, Archie, Kian, James and Reegan all found the net on more than one occasion along with solo strikes for Kobi, Aaron, Oliver, Jye and Lawrence. They were all on target for the Snow Leopards and the Cheetahs of Waveney. And as for Kirkley Joshua, Ethan, Oscar and Riley all scored more than once and they were backed up with goals from Elliot, William, Jude, both Ethan W and Ethan F along with Noah, Oliver and Luis, all on target for Kirkley and Pakefield Dukes, Crusaders and the Royals.

Bungay had goals to cheer from Alfie and Louis as did the Rockets of Burnt Hill with Oliver and George on target while Ryley found the net for Gorleston Rangers Kestrels.
