TALENTED young triathlete Zak Coleman has made a New Year resolution to build on his success. Current Eastern Region Triathlon League champion, 10-year-old Zak doesn't let a week go by without putting in the hours training for all three of the sport's disciplines.

The Caister Middle School pupil swims four times a week, runs twice a week and bikes three times a week in preparation for the start of the season in May.
Last year Zak came first in the nine to 10 age group and now faces the challenge of competing in the 11 to 12 category and is training at East Anglian Academy.
Zak won four events, was runner-up in four and came third once to claim his first title since starting competing in the triathlon aged eight.
In a sport renowned as one of the toughest of physical challenges, junior triathletes have to swim 150m, cycle 2km and run 1,200m.

Zak is following in the footsteps of dad Neil, a talented triathlete, who took part in the 2009 Iron Man contest in Bolton.
A member of Norwich based Tri-Anglia Triathlon Club, Zak's ultimate aim is to turn professional and compete in the Olympics.
His favourite event is biking and Zak won the 2009 Under 12s Lotus Cycle League despite being both an underage entrant and forced to compete with a handicap.
Dad Neil said: “I feel proud of his determination and dedication as he has worked very hard to improve in all three disciplines to reach the top.”
