THE historic Great Yarmouth Row Houses will be providing free admission at next month's Heritage Open Days event.As well as a fantastic opportunity to view these once grand 400 year old merchant's houses there will be fun trails for children giving them a chance to claim a reward in the hunt for missing herrings.

As well as a fantastic opportunity to view these once grand 400 year old merchant's houses there will be fun trails for children giving them a chance to claim a reward in the hunt for missing herrings.

For the grown ups, staff at the houses will be offering the ever popular wine and jam tastings throughout the two days in a specially extended gift shop.

Those with a keen eye for bargains will find a number of very special offers running throughout the gift shop with discounts available on all stock, above a minimum spend, giving visitors the chance to find unique presents well ahead of the Christmas rush.

Historic sites across the country are opening their doors to the public for free for The Heritage Open Days weekend on Saturday and Sunday, September 13 and 14.
