A ‘Fun Palace’ is popping up at Great Yarmouth library as part of a nationwide celebration of community and culture.

Offering a range of free events it aims to create a “laboratory of fun” in the heart of the town.

It is one of hundreds of palaces across the country joining in with a weekend of events under the Fun Palace banner, but the only one in the Yarmouth Borough.

Events run from 11-2pm.

The library is billing it as an opportunity for all the community to try out art and science in a community space.

It will feature an overlap of medical science, art, and surreal humour with the Three Harley St Medics who will be on call for check ups from the team with ‘non-evasive stress-exfoliation and self-esteem buffing’.

Also make a cast of your thumb, get mucky in the garden, get crafty.
