CHILDREN aged six or more who do not like organised sports are being invited to a Saturday dance aerobics session called Pump it Up in the new year.

The event is organised by Dusmagrik Productions and is held every Saturday morning at 10.30am from January 10 at Cliff Park High School, Gorleston and costs £3 per session.

Organiser Karen Thompson said: “Not everyone likes organised sports or team sports. Many children express concerns about their appearance and sometimes those who work out and watch their diets do so strictly for aesthetic reasons.. The sessions helps them to gain courage and self-confidence.”

She said that it is a 60 minute hi-energy dance aerobic workout to an explosive soundtrack of all the latest tracks.

Karen said there are also places available in Tiptoe Time which is an introduction to Dusmagrik Productions Workshops for children aged three to five. They train in each of the three disciplines, drama, dance and singing, for 45 minutes every Tuesday at Cliff Park High School, Gorleston. In each class children will learn to express themselves more easily, gain poise, self confidence and self awareness.
