THE New Orleans jazz weekend is to be held at Seacroft holiday village, Hemsby from March 27-29. Bands booked are the Rae Brothers Festival Band led by Steve Graham, Brian Carrack's Algiers Stompers, New Orleans Heat, the Savananna Jazz Band, Sussex Jazz Kings, the Big Bear Stompers and Dave Brennan's Jubilee Band. The new year jazz festival staged at the centre sold out well before the date. The March jazz weekend costs �130, to book contact: 01493 733610.
THE Syd Lawrence Orchestra appears at the Marina Theatre, Lowestoft on Sunday, March 22. The orchestra for many years specialised to the music of Glenn Miler and 40s, 50s and big band styles. For more information and box office, tel: 01502 533200.
