GREAT Yarmouth has talent and lots of it as was shown at the finals of the talent contest held as part of the Inspire Aspire event at the Marina Centre.

GREAT Yarmouth has talent and lots of it at the finals of the talent contest held as part of the Inspire Aspire event at the Marina Centre.
The contest was held on Saturday, the winner was Angelo Bernal who came top out of 15 finalists. Was awarded the top prize of �100 and a champions trophy.
The list of winners were:
Under 16's Winner: Emma Seamarks
16 - 35 Winner: Angelo Bernal
Over 35's Winner: Peter Hawkins
Group Winner: Gold Rush girl group
The judges were Great Yarmouth MP Tony Wright, borough council leader Barry Coleman, borough council executive director Jane Ratcliffe and borough council culture sport and leisure manager Marie Hartley.
Organiser Tracey Souter said: “The acts that were successful to go through to the final were of an excellent standard. The singers and dancers who performed in the final stunned the judges and amazed the audience with the outstanding level of talent that emerged from Great Yarmouth.
All winners received cash prizes and a trophy to mark the occasion which were presented by the Mayor. Cara Hawkins and Emma Seamarks were overall runners up and each received three sessions with a vocal coach, Martyn Shults. We were delighted as to how many people entered for the competition and for their high standard as well. I would also like to say a very special thank-you to the judges for all of their hard work.”
The event also included stalls and displays from local organisations who showed residents of Great Yarmouth what was on offer to help including training opportunities, skills, advice and support.
It was organised jointly by Great Yarmouth People, Community Connections, and Great Yarmouth Strategic Partnership.
