On Saturday night, November 7, one of the charity's major fundraisers is being held in Great Yarmouth at the Imperial Hotel.

The annual Charity Dinner dance is a ticket-only event and there are still some tickets available to help this worthwhile cause. They cost �20 each and include a three course meal and entertainment throughout the evening.

Cliff Park Junior School in Gorleston will be holding its annual Fireworks Evening next Friday, November 6. Donations are desperately needed to make the evening a success, please take to the school before the event for the attention of Michael Walsh. All proceeds will be re-invested into the school for the purpose of the pupils' education.

Gorleston Theatre Company will be staging the play Happy as a Sandbag at the Pavilion Theatre in Gorleston from Thursday until Saturday. The play is a musical celebration of the 70th anniversary of World War II and will be staged at 7pm nightly with a 2.30pm matinee on the Saturday. Tickets are �9 and �7 for concessions.
