STAND by for a cracking performance of Annie Warbucks, as performed by the youngsters from Dusmagrik Productions which opens at the Marina Theatre on Thursday, December 18.
Director Karen Thompson said: “This show is full of peppy melodies, fantastic costumes, exciting choreography and once again an enormously talented cast.
It's a good family show. The story starts on Christmas morning, 1933. Annie portrayed with ease by both Skye Brewer and Millie Houchen, who are both blessed with amazing voices, they play this role with confidence. Annie has been adopted by Mr Warbucks and all seems complete, as a holiday celebration is under way. But the festivities are interrupted by New York City child welfare commissioner Harriet Doyle, a comic villainess easily the rival of Miss Hannigan and played with shlumpy, grumpy relish by Bev Alden. She directs Daddy Warbucks, played by David Mattison, to find a wife within 60 days or its back to the orphanage for Annie.”
Annie Warbucks run's from December 18-20 at The Marina Centre, Great Yarmouth tickets are £6 each and are available from the Marina Centre, Great Yarmouth and The Dance Shop, Gorleston.
