Following Triple T Productions’ highly successful You Can’t Stop the Beat at the Great Yarmouth Hippodrome in May they are now preparing for their first ever pantomime.

It will be staged at Gorleston Pavilion from January 18 to 20 and Beauty and the Beast promises to be a fun-filled family production with all the traditional ingredients of panto.

The production team is now searching for singers, dancers and actors to make up the cast and auditions are to be held on Tuesday, September 19 for principal roles. Further auditions for chorus and dancers is on Thursday, September 21 with both in the theatre at East Coast College, formerly Great Yarmouth College, at 7pm.

Triple T rehearses Tuesdays and Thursday evenings at East Coast College, and they will begin as soon as the show is cast.

Show director Nick Ball said: “Triple T was started to encourage people to perform and create a friendly atmosphere in which everyone can enjoy themselves, working towards producing great quality productions and with our first four productions we have built up a great local reputation. We are thrilled to be returning to the Gorleston Pavilion which, for many of us, is where our passion for live theatre began … some time ago!“

Anyone aged 16 and above is welcome to join the cast of Beauty the Beast, and if anyone is interested in a principal role they are asked to email tripletproductions@virginmedia.com for an audition pack which includes all the character descriptions, as well as the script pieces for auditions. Those interested in being in the chorus or dancing please just turn up on the day.

For more details about the production, please email or contact Triple T Productions via their Facebook page.
