Five-star Potters Resort at Hopton has announced that Tokio Myers is headlining a one night at the resort on Sunday, March 18.

Showcasing his prowess playing a grand piano, the multi-talented pianist, composer and producer shot to fame as the winner of the 11th series of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent last year and astonished judges, audiences and the viewing public with his contemporary cool mix of classical and pop.

In December 2017 he performed at The Royal Variety Show in the presence of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Tokio, whose real name is Torville Jones, will be performing a number of songs during his appearance at Potters, including the one that made him a star on BGT: the fusion of Debussy’s Clair de lune and Ed Sheeran’s song Bloodstream.

Tokio’s debut album, Our Generation, was released in November and includes a mixture of original songs, as well as innovative and inventive re-workings. Highlights include original compositions Baltimore and To Be Loved, plus Bloodstream, a cover of Rudimental and Ed Sheeran’s hit, The Weeknd’s Angel, as well as Children by the late Robert Miles.

The cost of the one-night break on Sunday, March 18 starts from £139 and includes live evening entertainment in the Atlas Theatre, followed by late night entertainment, accommodation, a five course dinner with selected wines, a midnight dish, breakfast the following morning, daytime activities and extensive sports and leisure facilities.
