TOMORROW , Sun Of Cash will be appearing for the first time in Great Yarmouth at Allens Bar, Grey Friars Way for a celebration of the music of Johnny Cash. Sun Of Cash (Mr Cash's early work was recorded on Sun Records) will be playing some of “The Man In Black's” most rugged, honest and heartfelt songs along with a few specially selected gems by Hank Williams, Jimmy Cliff and the Sex Pistols. The concert starts at 9pm and admission is free.

ACOUSTIC Rock'n'Roll trio The Revolves are at the Lacon Arms pub, Great Yarmouth tomorrow (Saturday) from 8.30pm. The band will be playing some 50s and 60s Rock'n'Roll including numbers from The Beatles, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Elvis, The Kinks, Little Richard and Rolling Stones.

THIS Sunday sees the first anniversary of the Wood and the Wire at the Albion Public House, Gorleston. A spokesman said; “We would like to invite along all performers past and present to celebrate with us. Each month we get such a varied and talented array of musicians, singers, songwriters and poets to name but a few. The Wood and the Wire, as an acoustic showcase has gone from strength to strength in the past year. From Jazz to Punk and everything in between.” The evening starts at 8pm.
