ANOTHER music extravaganza awaits the musical fan from Dusmagrik Young Peoples Theatre Company at the Gorleston Pavilion early next month.A Night at the Movies will encompass some of the best loved songs from all time favourite family films such as Bambi, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Snow White together with numbers from film musicals -West Side Story, The Sound of Music and Oliver! It also comes right up to date with musical numbers from films which are current West End Smash Hit Shows, Hairspray and Chicago.

Spokeswoman Mary Carter said: “Their last production took you on a magical journey to Never Land and now the company is about to ask you to join them for A Night at the Movies which will be an evening of song and dance inspired by music from films.”

She said that Dusmagrik Young People's Theatre Company is now in its 23rd year and has become synonymous with staging spectacular shows and constantly striving to raise the standard of entertainment that they present.

“This show will be no exception,” she said, “with a cast of 45 aged from six to 17, each member will bring their own unique talent to the stage of the Pavilion Theatre, Gorleston ensuring an evening of nostalgia and entertainment for all the family. A show not to be missed for its entertainment value but also one where you can see tomorrow's theatre stars today.”

The show runs from the April 3-5 evenings at 7.30 with a Matinee on Saturday April 5 at 2pm. Tickets at £8.00 for adults and £5.00 for children, can be obtained by contacting the Pavilion box office on 01493 662832.
