Stage Door Youth Theatre will be performing the 1960s hit cult show A Slice of Saturday Night at the Pavilion Theatre, Gorleston on March 27 and 28.
Director Sheila Pascall said: “The production, written by the Heather Brothers and produced in association with Samuel French Ltd. is a musical pastiche that takes you spinning back to the swinging sixties to celebrate the eternal embarrassment of being a teenager when hems were high and fringes low. Saturday night always meant the Club a Go-Go.”
Special guests include The Lazy Poker Blues Band and Chris Darnell playing a nightclub owner Eric “Rubber Legs” De Vene, who, according to Ms Pascall, would appear to be stuck in the rock'n'roll era of the 1950s.
