A CONCERT will celebrate the success of five local singing students awarded diplomas for their musical theatre work by the London College of Music. Included in the five are Danielle Emons, who was awarded an LCM diploma, while Matthew Nelson and Jenna Taylor received a Licentiateship.
A CONCERT will celebrate the success of five local singing students awarded diplomas for their musical theatre work by the London College of Music.
Included in the five are Danielle Emons, who was awarded an LCM diploma, while Matthew Nelson and Jenna Taylor received a Licentiateship.
Also receiving top honours and full Licentiateships were Rebecca Bentley, who will audition for the West End, and Gill Whiley, who wants to teach singing.
All were tutored by local singing teacher and examiner Mary Hardy-Green.
A celebration concert named Classics at Lilac Time is being held with their singing teacher in St. Edmunds Church, Acle, on Saturday, May 8 at 7.30pm.
With donations going to the church and to the East Coast Hospice, Maggie Secker from Radio Norfolk will be attending, and John Farmer will accompany on piano and organ.
There will also be performances by guitarist Richard Whiley, Pat Andrews and the Bradwell Choir. Tickets cost �5 on the door or �4 with concessions.
