there are just a few weeks to submit your entry if you would like the chance to display and sell your artwork in Great Yarmouth Library gallery as part of a new open exhibition.

Artists are being asked to interpret the theme, Renewal, and the deadline for entries is Friday, March 26.

The exhibition, full name Renewal: An Open Exhibition for Norfolk and Waveney Artists, runs from April 12 to 24.

To enter, you must be 16 or over and living in Norfolk and Waveney.

You can submit three pieces of artwork to be viewed by a selection panel of arts professionals.

The exhibition is open to artists working in painting, drawing, photography, prints, sculpture and textiles. The aim is to showcase and celebrate artistic talent in the county whilst providing an opportunity for artists to exhibit and sell their work.

David Jones, of organisers Seachange Arts, said: “We have already received some high-quality submissions but are appealing for more artists to come forward. We want to create an inclusive exhibition that reflects the incredible range of artistic talent in the area. There are few opportunities for artists to have their work displayed, so the exhibition is the perfect way for new artists to exhibit for the first time. ”

Application forms can be picked up from the library, downloaded at www.seachangearts.org.uk or by contacting David on 01493 846187; email David1@seachangearts.org.uk
