THIS weekend people in and around Great Yarmouth have two chances to see popular Johnny Cash tribute, Sun of Cash.
Tomorrow, Saturday, evening Sun of Cash return to Allen's Bar, one of Yarmouth's liveliest real-music venues. On Sunday afternoon the band are across the river in Gorleston, at The Lord Nelson on Trafalgar Road West.
Sun of Cash are gearing up for a number of festivals over the summer, but these pub gigs give you a chance to get up close and see the guys in action, and admission is free.
The band, Paul (vocals / guitar), Steve (guitar) and Les (double bass / vocals) play a host of great tracks by the legendary Johnny Cash with a few 'guest tracks'. They stick to the authentic Sun Records sound, of two guitars and a big old double-bass.
Saturday 8.30pm at Allen's Bar and Sunday 3pm at The Lord Nelson.
