MUSIC lovers are in for a special treat on May 9 when the Skelmanthorpe Male Voice Choir returns to Christchurch, Great Yarmouth as part of their 75th anniversary tour.

MUSIC lovers are in for a special treat on May 9 when the Skelmanthorpe Male Voice Choir returns to Christchurch, Great Yarmouth as part of their 75th anniversary tour.

The choir will be joined by local singer Naomi Symeou who has just spent the last eight months as a principal singer on Cunard's new ship the Queen Victoria.

And Yarmouth Rotary Club is hosting the concert.

The return visit is particularly special for ex Yarmouth Grammar School boy, Tony Young, who likes to keep up his links with the town since moving to Yorkshire. He has been singing with the choir for over twenty years.

The repertoire is wide ranging from traditional male voice choir pieces such as Gwahoddiad to songs from musicals.

All proceeds from the concert will be used to support charities supported by Rotary.

Tickets, �8 and �4 for children, are on sale at Christchurch coffee shop, open daily from 10am-2pm.
