Underpasses will be transformed into a contemporary art gallery.

The Great Yarmouth Underground Gallery will open on Friday, June 15 in the heart of the town.

Two public underpasses on Fuller’s Hill and North Quay will be taken over by five local and international artists curated by the Community Interest Company (CIC), Reprezent Project.

The gallery will also promote Reprezent Project’s aspirations to revitalise the urban landscape with public art.

Budding artists within the audio/visual industry can also show off their work to the CIC during the day within the underpasses.

Reprezent Project is scouting new local talent from within the industry and successful artists could be next to exhibit in the Great Yarmouth Underground Gallery.

The CIC was set up two years ago and encourages creativity in children and teenagers in the Yarmouth.
