THERE are just six weeks to go before Great Yarmouth's international concert series, Symphonies by the Sea starts in February. The series, organised by SeaChange Arts, cultural providers to the Borough of Great Yarmouth, are organising two concerts. Award-winning cellist Julian Lloyd-Webber will be heard in Elgar's immortal cello concerto with the Russian State Philharmonic conducted by Valery Poliansky on Wednesday February 4 (7.30pm), while Ernst Kovacik will play Beethoven's violin concerto with the Berlin Symphony Orchestra under Lothar Zagrosek on Sunday March 15 (7.30pm). Tickets (per concert) are £27.50/£25.50 with concessions at £26.50 /£24.50 respectively.
