IT'S another busy Saturday and Sunday this weekend. A special gig on Saturday brings a band that is emerging from a self-restriction of not making any more trips down from the far north. They are the Diesel Cowboys, and they will be at Acorn Club, at Hemsby Village Hall. This band has been missed and I am sure they will be well supported.

A complete contrast in styles, also on Saturday, at Pulham Market Memorial Hall, is solo singer Kevin Barry, an original member of New Dawn and getting good reports.

At North Walsham, Budgie Colman will be appearing in what he rates as one of his favourite gigs.

On Sunday, at The Acorn Club at Hemsby, there will be dancing to father and son act Ryder and James, and at the Apollo, the Texas Tornados have been booked as a result of good festivals.

Finally, at The Fisher Theatre, Bungay, there is a stage show Hooked on Country, Sold on 60s.

The gig with Stephyn Smyth and his band, scheduled for Thursday, April 22, has been transferred to April 26.
